Kids Ministry

Our goal is to offer a safe environment where our kids can thrive and grow into new disciples of God through age-appropriate curriculum and activities designed to keep them engaged and excited every Sunday!

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is offered every Sunday for preschool – 5th grade aged kids.

Each week, kids will begin worship in the Sanctuary with their families. After a special children’s message, they will leave the service to head over to the Education Building to continue worship in the Fellowship Hall. Children’s Church will include a time of social connection, a bible lesson, application games, and memory verse activities.

Nursery:
We have a fully staffed nursery available for infants – preschool-aged children every Sunday. Our nursery is located in the Education Building, directly next to the Sanctuary. Our trained staff will collect necessary information from you regarding the needs of your child at drop-off.

Preschool & Elementary:
Each Sunday starts in the Sanctuary for all Preschool and Elementary kids. After engaging in a small portion of worship, kids are invited to leave the service with members of our trained KidMin team to attend an engaging large group gathering with singing and teaching from the Bible, followed by a more personal small group time with caring leaders and children their same age.
This all takes place in the Education Building directly behind the Sanctuary Building.
By attending the same hour each week, your child will make friends and have the same Small Group Leaders. We want this hour to be encouraging and fun as well as something they look forward
to each week!

Special Events: Kids have the power to make an impact in the lives of others. Throughout the year, JFUMC Kids hosts special events that encourage kids and families to participate in service, missions, and outreach efforts. Examples include packing weekend food bags for local students in need, caroling in retirement communities, packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, and making cards for homebound members. These are great opportunities to empower kids and create fun memories with family members and Small Group Leaders.
